GSL CRANK CASE BREATHER / CATCH CAN.

PLEASE NOTE:

This is the Gen 2 Crank Case Breather /Catch Can. Alterations have been made to suit the 200 Series Landcruiser.

The primary purpose of the GSL Crank Case Breather is to reduce the crank case pressure while removing the oil from the gases before it leaves the tappet cover, which in return, reduces the chance of EGR slime.

The GSL Crank Case Breather eliminates all the negatives of an aftermarket catch can, these are increased crank case pressure, possible leaks and a cluttered engine bay. This will provide less maintenance and adds longevity to the motor returning the oil to where it needs to be.
- Made to suit Toyota VDJ70 LandCruiser.
- Direct bolt on replacement for standard breather catch can.
- Reduces the number of unnecessary hoses in the engine bay.
- Kit includes foam filter, billet aluminium crank case breather and all necessary bolts required for install.
- Remap is NOT required.
- Maintenance would be to inspect the foam every 10,000km or six months. (whichever comes first)

Great product so far. Watched the video 3 times before installation. Shame theres no 200 video. So after pulling the OM breather off I placed the GSL unit in place, being extra careful not to drop anything into the engine. Guess what, a washer and the bolt fell out of my trembling fat fingers. But not in the engine but outside down into the valley. Why are there so many loose washers that could surely be held insitu by an O ring or something. Anyway that was my fault. I button it up and off I go driving around. Only to see oil dripping under the car the next day. So the next day I pull it all apart and I realize my rookie mistake. The rubber seal that came out with the OEM piece has to be reinstalled into the engine then the GSL unit gets bolted on. Went back together easier the second time. I've done just over 1K klm's since then and no problems, and since it drains the oil back into the engine, I won't have to keep topping up the oil. Another great engineered and built Aussie bit of gear. Congratulations.

Excellent quality, easy install and a nice clean engine bay. Will definitely be recommending GSL products to my customers in the future.
