Refund policy

Customer Warranty

All products manufactured by GSL Fab Pty Ltd are covered by an 11-year warranty guarantee, with the exception of DPFs (Diesel Particulate Filters), which, due to their consumable nature, hold a 12-month warranty. This warranty covers any manufacturing faults arising from the date of purchase of your GSL manufactured product.

All warranty replacements or repairs require a visual inspection of the fault before any action is taken. Warranty does not cover freight, labour, or towing costs associated with your product or vehicle.

Products not manufactured by GSL Fab Pty Ltd - including consumables such as bolts and acrylics - are not covered under the 11 year warranty.

Voiding “Fabricated Goods” Warranty

Your warranty will be voided if GSL Fab Pty Ltd fabricated products are tampered with or customised in any way. This includes (but is not limited to):

  • Custom bracketry
  • Attempted self-repairs
  • Adding or removing parts from the originally purchased product

Turbo Warranty

The following outlines warranty inclusions, exclusions, and customer requirements. It is the customer’s responsibility to adhere to these terms. Failure to do so may void the turbo warranty.
Note: Second-hand turbos are not covered by any warranty.

All GSL Intense Turbo products are covered by a 12 month warranty against manufacturer defects in materials or workmanship.

Within this period, GSL Fab Pty Ltd will replace any noticeably faulty turbo, subject to inspection and investigation by a registered mechanic at GSL Fab Pty Ltd.

Valid warranty claims require proof of purchase, either via receipt, invoice, or engraved serial number.

At its sole discretion, GSL Fab Pty Ltd will repair or replace the defective component at no cost to the customer for parts.
However, our liability is limited strictly to the cost of repairing or replacing the turbo unit.

What the Turbo Warranty Does Not Cover:

  • Labour or towing costs
  • Installation costs
  • Damage from turbo incompatibility with your vehicle
  • Incidental or consequential damages, including:
    • Loss of profits, damage to personal property, third-party liabilities.

Warranty Exclusions:

Your turbo warranty will be voided if any of the following occur:

  • Overspeeding the turbo due to hose blow-off, boost leaks, or insufficient lubrication
  • Physical damage to the turbo
  • Engine damage from neglect or abuse
  • Failures resulting from third-party tuning
  • Use in custom/modified, illegal, industrial, or commercial applications
  • Not returning the vehicle to GSL or an authorised Intense Dealer for a check-up at 1,000 km or within 2 months, whichever comes first
  • Failure to complete a 1,000 km service by a certified dealer or GSL Fab Pty Ltd
  • Labour is not covered if the failure is not due to GSL Fab Pty Ltd’s fitment

Minimum Fitment Requirements:

To maintain warranty coverage, the following must be fitted prior to or during turbo installation:

  • EGT & Boost gauges
  • GSL silicone kit
  • GSL airbox, intake, and snorkel (if not already fitted)

Please be aware that vehicle manufacturers may void their own warranty due to engine modifications. This is outside GSL Fab Pty Ltd’s control.

Warranties are issued only when product failure is deemed fair and reasonable, and where GSL Fab Pty Ltd products have likely contributed to the issue.

If you are unable to return to GSL Fab Pty Ltd for the 1,000 km check-up, you may have it completed by an authorised Intense Turbo dealer or mechanic.
Retain the invoice or receipt from this check-up, as it may be required for any future warranty claims.

Second-hand turbos are not covered by any warranty.

Refunds

PLEASE NOTE: GSL Fab Pty Ltd does not offer refunds or exchanges for change of mind.

GSL Fab Pty Ltd reserves the right to refuse refund requests in the following situations:

  • Change of mind
  • Incompatibility with existing modifications
  • Products returned with signs of use and not in resaleable condition

All potential refunds require visual inspection by a qualified team member. Refunds are assessed case-by-case via email.

A $40 admin fee, plus any applicable payment processing fees, will be deducted from approved refund amounts to cover administrative costs.

Late or Missing Refunds (If Applicable)

If you haven’t received your refund yet, please:

  1. Check your bank account again
  2. Contact your banking institution, as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted

Important Information:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer and are non-refundable.

  • If a refund is approved, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • Exchange delivery times may vary depending on your location.
  • We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping service and/or purchasing shipping insurance.
  • GSL Fab Pty Ltd is not responsible for lost or undelivered return shipments.
  • Returned items must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit and must be returned in a saleable condition.
  • Saleability will be assessed upon receipt of the goods.

Please ensure all returns are sent with care. Damaged, used, or unsaleable products may not be eligible for a refund or exchange.
